Technology spoken here

Technology – it’s around us. The human mind introduces new and improved technology by using curiosity and creative thinking in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Founding editor of Wired Magazine Kevin Kelly tells an epic story of technology in one of his Ted.com Ted Talk videos. Mr. Kelly tells us that,

  • The word “technology” was used for the first time in 1829 and made it into a U.S. President’s speech in 1952; 123 years later
  • Energy density in a life is greater than a star and less than a computer chip
  • Technology increases:
    • Differences
    • Diversity
    • Options
    • Choices
    • Opportunities
    • Possibilities
    • Freedom
  • Technology is the most powerful force in the world

Let us encourage more studies, more majors, and more career goals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for this generation and those that follow. I want my children and my grandchildren to enjoy the freedom I have embraced living in these United States.
