A powerful force

“Technology is the most powerful force in the world.”
Kevin Kelly, founding editor of Wired Magazine

This, I do believe. This is why I write the STEM Strong blog.

As an introduction to this blog, I believe the American Society of Civil Engineers says it best in their 2009 Report Card. The ASCE report a sharp decline in our Nation’s infrastructure; demonstrating a need for scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians to keep America strong.

D = America’s infrastructure G.P.A.
$2.2 Trillion = Estimated 5-year Investment Need

Watch the American Society of Civil Engineers’ video. Learn more on the importance of STEM education for our nation. Stay for the second video; it is short and well worth it.
